I graduated from Berry College with a BS in Early Childhood Education in April 1994 and married Charley a few months later in July. We lived in Charlotte, North Carolina for 5 years. I finished my Master's in Reading, Language and Literacy at UNC-Charlotte before moving back to Georgia the summer of 1999. Charley and I have 3 children. Mary Helen(12), Andrew(9), and Jack(7). I have been teaching for 16 years! That's hard to believe! I am currently teaching second grade at Buford Academy. I feel blessed to be in such a wonderful school system! Both my boys will be at the Academy with me next year and Mary Helen is just across the street at Buford Middle! Buford reminds me of Dalton and I guess that's why we feel so "at home" there. Lots of school pride and a great community!
