Her last name is spelled Colson. Catherine Elizabeth. She was one of my best friends and I still miss her. Strangely, I now live on the street she used to live on and John Nimmo actually lives in her house now. Her father was also killed in the accident that took her life on May 3, 1985. My daughter's middle name is Catherine, named for her. When Larry Turner and Bruce Rainnie sang "Seasons in the Sun" for her at graduation, I was so overcome. Such a loss. Thank you for posting, Gordon.
I still miss her. Cathy Colson was one of my best friends. Andrea, Cathy and I were inseparable at times. We did everything together. Saturday lunches at Scotia Square, summer days spent at Rainbow Haven. We really did have joy and fun, we had seasons in the sun. Still 25 years later May 3, 1985 has never been forgotten, I can't imagine that it would. I had the privilege of attending school with Cathy from elementry right through to high school. We played in the school band together, she playing the flute and me the clarinet. Cathy was such a kind and caring person. Cathy was the true testament of "a friend" to everyone she touched.

Cathy passed while in her last year at Dartmouth High School. Any comments in her memory are welcome.

Fondly remembering "her" Amazing Grace!
