Jeff and I both lived as neighbors in the Philippines for a year during sabbatical years of our fathers from UCD. We had great adventures in the pool, tennis courts, and freely roaming the jungle around Mt Makiling.  I did not attend school that year, but merely enrolled in 6th grade upon returning to Davis again. I hope they don't yank my diploma for admiting that I never completed 5th grade!

Hey, we live "around the corner" from you! We also have Chapel Hill address, but closer to Carrboro/Pittsboro. Small world!

Yep. John was always a kind friend. I clearly remember how ee loved honking on the baritone saxophone in Band and Jazz Band. Sorry  he's no longer with us.

I attended kindergarten with Mark at West Davis Elementary and we were best of friends for ever more. There are too many goofy adventures to mention, but lots of great memories.  Unfortunately, Mark was killed in a motorcycle crash about 40 years ago. So sad.

You may recall his younger brother, Chris, who was also a great companion and friend. I'll dig up a few pictures of Mark to post. (oh, proper spelling is McGahan)
