The best time of my life seems to be starting around the age of fifty. To get married to a wonderful woman like my wife Betsey is such a blessing. Our two cats and a dog always keep us busy. After much debate and much strife in our personal lives, Betsey and I had to narrow down and decide what we would do next after selling her interest in her store. After much debate and some sadness, we realized that we would go to Berea, Kentucky where Betsey would finish out her BS in Psychology, and I would commute to Eastern Kentucky and hold a position with Eastern Kentucky while finishing off my Masters degree and going on for a Phd. To me that is the most awesome way to sell Carroll now, is by stating what the lower half of the class has done. Yes, I am sure we have our doctorates and even a state senator in the history of our school, but to get a doctorate from the lower portion of a class, speaks to me of the quality education Carroll provided and the type of students there. I look through the names of our class, and truly I cannot think of too many who were not capable of producing great works.
