Brenda Joyce Wilson
Wilson, Brenda Joyce, age 24, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, November 19, 1989 at Ohio State University Hosp., Columbus, OH. Brenda was a member of the Ethan Temple S.D.A. Church. She was devoted to Omega Choir, Directress of the Junior Choir, a member of the Music Committee & Prison Ministry. She graduated from Patterson Co-Op High School, 1983 & was a member of the V.I.C.A. Club, Medical Assistant Student, & a 4 yr. Track-Cross Country Member. She was a current nursing student at Sinclair Community College & was to graduate with the June 1990 class. Brenda was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Vaddie L. Smith, 1985 & Addie M. Wilson, 1986. Grandfather, Buffus Smith Sr., 1989 & loving aunt, Annie Ramsey, 1989. She leaves to mourn a loving son, Lamon E. Wilson, 4; also survived by her loving parents, Sarah N. Wilson (Smith) & Raymond A. Wilson, Jr. of Dayton; 5 brothers, Raymond A Wilson, III of Ft. Myers, FL; Kenneth Wilson of Connecticut; Darrell, Michael & Robert Wilson, all of Dayton; 3 loving sisters, Sharon Wilson of Dayton, Aliese Wilson Ramey & Deborah Wilson, of Baltimore, MD; loving God-Parents, Nehm & Zelda Bailey. A host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces & nephews & other relatives & friends. Funeral services Friday, 11 A.M. at Ethan Temple S.D.A. Church, 4519 Oakridge Dr. with Elder Bufford Griffith, Jr. officiating. Interment West Memory Gardens. Viewing 4-8 P.M. Thursday. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. at the Church. Contributions may be sent to the Brenda Wilson Lukemia Foundation Fund, c/o Citizens Federal Bank. Arrangements by Richard E. Smith Mortuary, 3419 W. Third St., Dayton. Procession will form at 2932 Wexford Place.

I remember coming home on leave and seeing her.. She had just had a child and was so excited about it..

We had a chance to hang out the week I was in town and the next time I had the opportunity to come back I found out she had passed..

I am not sure of the exact date, but it had to be between 1984 and 1988 because I was still in the Navy..

she had such a great smile and glowing personality..
