Tomorrow, June 19, 2008 will be a sad day. Our school building is coming down, the only thing we will have left are all those good ole memories. Let us have a moment of silence.

What is the world coming to now? Dayton just keeps getting less. So Sad, but so True.

Remarkably, they DPS system stated that there was no walkthru due to lack of interest. I do not recall any publication of it coming down until they were ready to let the ball start swinging. I knew there was talk of it, but being a police officer, I knew it was used as the truancy center, next thing I knew Bang she was coming down. I spend a bit of time in the downtown area at work, and I just find myself pulling up and watching them tear it down and remember all the times there.

I heard about the demolition and read about the demolition, But WOW!!! To see the demolition was horrible. I went to a wedding reception at the Memorial Hall and I stood there and was in disbelief..All of the memories...You could actually see the halls from the street...
Going to school downtown was a great experience that I will never forget...It's a SAD,SAD Day in the city...

I had such a wonderful time at the reunion. It was so much fun!!!! It was worth the drive from Virginia---I'm tired--had to be at work the next day (Monday), but it was good to see everyone and to catch up--some of y'all I have not seen since graduation!!! Committee members, you did a great job setting everything up--it went very smoothly. And I hope to see you all at our 25th!!!!!

I just wanted to say I am so glad so many of our classmates were able to attend. Those who couldn't make it, just know that you were truly missed. To our fallen classmates you will never be forgotten.

To the committee members and everyone involved, I salute you for a fun filled reunion. You guys did an amazing job!

God bless everyone...

I had a great time at our 20 yr reunion! Everyone involved did an excellent job at making the weekend a success.

It was so very nice to see everyone. I hope that for our 25th, we all won't have to play "catch-up" so much... because I really hope that we do a better job of staying in touch! :)

It was soooo good to see everyone after 20 years. Can you believe it. We are knocking on 40s door. But that's okay. Everyone I saw seemed to be doing well and looking good. Glory to God for that!!! I pray that all is well with everyone, and most importantly, that we be the people that God created and called us to be, fulfilling the purpose for which He created us.

Love you all,
Stacy

To all class members we had a good time over the weekend with the past function at The Fox II. We raffled off great gifts and accumulated funds for the class reunion in August 2013.We had a number of classmates attend and also participate. We are having another function in December and are asking for more class members to attend and participate. We raffled off great gifts and also had a good time doing so. Signed NFL jersey, Golf Bags and balls, Alcohol packages, gift certificates to restaurants and more. Please come out and support at the next event more info to come.
