Is he that real nice guy that had the brain tumor? It seems that the people that are a blessing to us and that leave lasting impressions pass away so early. Maybe God loves them so much that He takes them home.
Ah William .. so many of my high school memories revolve around you. You could make a person smile and your flare. I was always so quiet, but you never made me feel forgotten. You saw me and I will always appreciate how special that made my high school years feel. I smile now remembering and thank you for that gift. We miss you.
Willaim, wow what a guy! He always knew how to get you to smile. I'm sure that many of us from PCH have a lot of fond memories of you. You will not be forgotten.
I had the pleasure of knowing and becoming good friends with William while attending E.J. Brown Junior High School. William was a kind person with a big heart and always had a smile for you. I was sad to learn of his death while overseas. I had the opportunity to speak with William's mother. She said, he fought a good fight (his spirits always high) and went peacefuly when God called him home.
As we come together this weekend, let us all take a moment to remember all of our fellow classmates who are no longer with us physically but are forever with us in spirit, and will always be a part of the best class (1988) to walk the halls of John H. Patterson CO-OP High School.
