School Story:
My most shocking moment in a large school environment was running into Lisa Zoeckler at UCF. I recognized her right off the bat, told our stories and Lisa is one up on me because she probably has her MBA. It is so energizing to be active in education after so many years out of the school system...I guess you can teach the old dog new tricks.
After my graduation in December 2008 the job market "stunk" and naturally my degree was in a government type job (Urban and Regional Planning)...well the housing market contracted and the job market followed suite...however I am very pleased to land the park ranger job and look forward to another retirement. Military retirement was my first and let me tell ya...It is not easy going from a helicopter crewman to civilian especially when I can not pass a flight physical due to old man's blood pressure and cholesterol.
And the beat goes on...It was nice being a Park Ranger and getting back to nature. I have a strong desire to get into Water Management of Florida's water resources or administration in a hospital whichever looks more attractive for the job market. I am still recreating myself?/>><
