And if you hadn't given me that beer in the parking lot, Matty, my blood wouldn't have been so thinned as to flow so freely. By the way, I think the follow through was, indeed, textbook. Hit me square in the mellon, as I recall.

Nice memory.

That and Stuart Twite student teaching and yelling, "Oh, F@*k!"

(OK, I might be intermingling the golf class and beer-in-the-parking-lot stories...)

Yeah, us Twite's were a bunch of potty mouths.

I remember Stuart saying something about a not so pleasant student teaching experience. I didn't know you guys were involved. All I knew was that it involved a golf club and some blood.

Well, if anyone was going to give Stuart a not so pleasant student teaching experience, it would have had to come from his little brother's class of clowns! And in jr. high gym class no less. Must've been like trying to herd cats...

Hey guys, Just wanted to let you know that Jon has been going through a rough time with his cancer and now, today, he lost his mom. Devastating, I'm sure. Don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but just thought you should know.

Big Ter,

Thanks for the update. That's terrible. Thoughts and prayers for Jon and his family...

Hello all. July 26 works for me or any weekend in August prior to August 18. School starts then. Just let me know. Thanks for all the work to put this together. Anything I can help with from here? Prayers go out to Jon and his family.

Hey Gang!
Who all is planning to make it the 26th? Sounds like a few will be unable to attend...and only 13 have responded.

Hey, gang! It is great to catch up on everyone! Thanks so much, Mike and whoever else had a hand in it, for organizing the reunion and especially the webpage. It's been fun to read what everyone is up to and see the pictures of all the kids. I must say we all have some good looking offspring! Not sure if I can make it yet for the weekend, but am trying to rearrange some things. In any event, I know you all will have a great time! Keep in touch!

It was great seeing everyone on Saturday. Sorry I could not stay for supper. I would have liked to stay and visit with everyone more. Hopefully you all had a good time. Golfing was a lot of fun. We will have to do that again some day.

A big thanks to everyone involved in putting the reunion together. It was a good time. God bless!!

So who all showed up? 2010 should work for me, assuming I'm not in Afghanistan. Excellent pictures so far. Keep posting, please...

Hell everybody! I do apologize for pulling a "no show". I hope you all understand. I just recently moved back to Sioux Falls and my family was butt deep in boxes. I would have loved to have seen everybody. There a few friends I haven't seen in 20 years. I do look forward to seeing everyone in 2010....much like "Soup" as long as I am not in Afghanistan. My email is paul.mausbach@us.army.mil and my phone number is (605)354-3791 if there is a slightest chance someone wants to "chat" or get together and have a drink of choice. You all take care!

For the benefit of the others that couldn't attend, here's what Maurine was gracious enough to tell me about the festivities:

Holland, Montross, Twite, Skyberg and myself were the golfers. Due to my endless hours of golf playing time over the years, I was the comic relief player. I could've done worse, but keeping your eye on the ball when I'm swinging could ensure your safety!

The ones who showed up for supper....Mike Montross, Terry Holland, Me, Lisa Kaiser, Rhonda Skyberg, Michelle Junker, Loryn Gehm, Melinda Johnson, Paul Jennings, Janee Dobson, Susie Behm, Gretchen Gross, Joel Kruse, Craig Pitman, and Jon Albrecht was able to stop by for a few minutes. It was his last day of chemo, so he was tired, but it was good to see him and hear that he is in remission. That was a nice letter you put in the paper. It was displayed on the table with some old photos - where did those young kids go?

I didn't take my camera, but I plan to bug Rhonda until she posts some photos. We had a good time. Hope to see you at the next one :)

I can't rightly take credit for Maurine's idea. So, thanks to Maurine, Rhonda posted pictures. Very nice!

Hey everyone.
I wanted to provide you an update on my mom's 2nd cornea transplant. They removed the 1st cornea and replaced it with a new one and they were able to restore her vision again. We are hoping that it lasts a little longer this time. She said she was able to see how many fingers the doctor was holding up from about five feet away. That is amazing considering she couldn't see if someone was sitting in front of her before.
Mom and dad will be home today from Cincinnati and school starts tomorrow already.
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Hi everyone!

I added pictures from the reunion to my profile, finally!
Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. I do apologize for cutting some faces off. I took some videos also, but they didn't turn out so well. I had a lot of fun visiting with everyone. It was great to be able to catch up.

I wanted to let you know that Denise and I are going to have another baby at the end of April. We are very excited and looking forward to the new addition to our family. Grandma and Grandpa are also very excited, especially since mom has been seeing much better since the second transplant. Take care and have a great holiday season.

Just a note to say Hi to everyone. Been a busy fall and winter. Spent Christmas in AZ for about 10 days and am planning on being there for a month (cross my fingers) next year. Met Rhonda at a Cardinals game while I was there and had a couple beers. Just wanted to say Hi and hope everyone is doing better than well! Later!

Hope everyone is having a good start to their 2009. I uploaded a newspaper pic from 4th grade for everyone's amusement. I stole it from Troy Tingle's Facebook page, so I can't take credit for having saved it all these years...
