It froze up on me too. Are we being censored?? :)
Maybe some other "silent" classmate has control over the site and when we start to discuss something he or she doesn't want to read suddenly the site is "unavailable". hmmm
Perhaps we've deviated too far from the sex, drugs, and rock-N-roll topics.
When I lived in China there were internet sites "unavailable" too like the NY Times Newspaper, The US Declaration of Independence, and anything that had to do with Tibet. For some reason(communists) they just could not be accessed. Sometimes when watching CNN our tv's would go blank for several minutes at a time. I wish I could make my tv here go blank during political campaign ads.

I bet your right...there sick of the same ol people typing senselessly. But you know what...we won't be held back...Me, Tracy, & Robert will type useless stuff every day of our life...or when we have time.

I made jello and pudding shots this weekend do those count? lol

ok, quick poll for everyone

Myspace or Facebook and why?

11/03/08 03:56 PM #326

April Passen (Ochman)

Myspace...cuz you can view people before you make them your friend! And it's easier...I think...or is it just because it was the first one I made.

Pudding shots??? How are they? What you put in them?

Working. It's been difficult to work on the really important things, like posting on this site.

By the way, I was kidding about moving to Taylor, MI.

May 1988: Me and Breck were knocking on Mark Emmelkamp's front door or bedroom window. Basically, trying to piss him off. About 10 minutes into it, him and his dad run to the front porch yelling 'whoever's out there, we're gonna beat your ass'. We could not stop laughing. When we peaked around the corner of the house, we saw Emmelkamp (all 80 pounds) standing on the porch w/ a tripod in his hands. He was going to beat us w/ a damn tripod! We ended up getting caught by his dad.

We left, and ended up egging a few hippies by the creek.

Debbie which you like better? Gotta answer your own poll.

Also remember World Affairs class? Who else was in our class? We kicked ass when we were England, the all female country.

April Passen (Ochman)

Your obession w/egging hippies...I don't know if I'm offended or blessed that I was never a victim.

11/03/08 04:03 PM #330

April Passen (Ochman)

Wasn't Mark your friend? Cuz if so...I think I might then be offended you never egged me, or knocked on my door. Oh wait you picked on me enough in grade school.

April Passen (Ochman)

Starting to feel like part of a joke...how long can you keep a hippie/burnout/housewife in suspends? Keep posting random posts every hour & see if April is still logged on...ROFL

For the pudding shots I got the recipe off the internet and revised it a bit. The ones I made were Cheesecake pudding mix, 3/4 cup of milk, 1/4 cup Kahula, 1/2 cup of strawberry schnapps. I chose not to fold in the cool whip per the recipe.

I have a facebook page with one friend from work (yes I am lame) and haven't done a myspace page. never been all into that stuff (seems like its for the younger generation). Just curious as to which everyone liked better and maybe I will spend a bit more time trying it out.

April only thing I remember from that class was putting a staple through my thumb while playing with the teachers stapler. My memory is horrible.

April, I was in World affais class. Believe I was United States. Think I got a bad grade because our country didnt do well.....

11/03/08 04:11 PM #335

April Passen (Ochman)

I got my myspace to check up on nieces & nephews...to find myself finding more adults then youngster on it. So now I have to remember to check on the nieces & nephews, while I talking w/friends or playing addictive games.

Myspace is the devil, very addictive...be careful.

I'll have to try the pudding shots!

Now I loved World Affairs...I did really good as England w/all girls...I think we were top country. The next time I was US & was like in 2nd place. I will not take the full credit for the grade, as we were a team! But it was fun, I was the only burnout in a class of Smarties & Jocks. It was nice visiting that world.

Holy Smash! Mention Sex drugs & R-N-R and look who shows up! I knew you others were out there.

Tom, what are you doing online at this hour??

Robert, Mark Emmelcamp called me one day, not sure where he got my number, and asked me to go bowling with him. I lied and told him my parents would not let me date. Isn't that mean!!! Poor guy. Must have taken some real courage to ask me.

I have never been to Myspace or facebook.

The thought of combinding liquor with pudding makes me a bit sick, actually. But I guess if it is Kaluha..

11/03/08 04:25 PM #338

Tracey Ulrich (Dawson)

Why wasn't I in World Affairs?? What year did you take that class?

11/03/08 04:28 PM #339

Tracey Ulrich (Dawson)

I've tried something harder than alcohol. Marriage and kids. HAHAHA

11/03/08 04:31 PM #340

April Passen (Ochman)

9th grade...It was one semster of World Affairs, & the other of Outdoor Ed. I skipped the semster of outdoor ed. Stidham had Mono...so I faked it too. Seriously I failed the entire semster, but still went on to 10th grade...only needed 1 and 1/2 credits to be a sophmore, and at least a 1/2 credit had to be English...I had exactly that!

11/03/08 04:32 PM #341

April Passen (Ochman)

OH SHIT...I can't stop laughin'...you got that right Tracy! Drugs were definately easier then hubby & kids!

11/03/08 04:34 PM #342

Tracey Ulrich (Dawson)

Maybe I did have that class but I don't remember it. I don't remember being in Plants either but I do remember having the class. I took photography class, that was fun. I also had woodshop while at OW Best but don't remember which year.

11/03/08 04:38 PM #343

April Passen (Ochman)

Now I had woodshop but I think it was one of those 6-8 week change course things...like computers, spanish, french, & the others...LOL can't remember all of them... oh home economics..I think. In 9th I moved to Florida w/Mom for a hot minute...& then again was forced to go live w/Dad when Me & Stidham broke up for another minute... that time during 11th.

I still have a black and white photo of me hanging upside down from a tree. I don't remember who took it but I developed it myself. It was taken outside the front of the school.
