Tara Wismar (Nickell)
Hey Tracey, I was hoping no one would notice that I have nothing to do at 1:00, now I know I am old and married! My kids give me 0 time to use the computer. After all are asleep, husband and puppies included, I sneak out to the family room and get on the computer. Sorry, to hear about your dad, I do remember all the hockey stuff, though. You always seemed like a very close family. I know how you and April feel about the little things that make you feel like they are here with you still, sometimes I feel that way about our middle daughter who passed away at birth. I drive by your moms house almost every day to pick my boy up at Madison, I did not want to send him to public school here, but since he started out with his speech therapy there, we decided to leave him there and it has actually been a good school. I remember when we were little, people would do anything to get their kids in D7 schools, now that they are schools of choice, they and the neighborhood have gone downhill. I would have loved to traveled like you have. I know my husband wants to, his Grandparents have been all over the world. My favorite story is when they went to Egypt Gramps said they were allowed inside the pyramids, they even were able to go into little tunnels, you had to crawl. He said they were allowed to smoke inside the pyramids, too. I always thought that was strange. I guess now you can't do any of that. It is a "hoot" to read all of you guys' posts! Tomorrow, we will be heading to Toledo, does that count for traveling? We are taking the kids the to Zoo. The weather is supposed to be nice, 70. One child has school, the other is skipping, but she don't know that, she thinks she is off like her big brother. She got to home early from pre-school one time because she was so tired and ever since then she thinks she does not have to go, so she gives me a VERY hard time about going. She is so hard headed, I wonder where she gets that from?
