You're right Hooker. I remember the lectern, and being scared to death to be up there. I'm sure you and Michele didn't have any of that stage fright! I still want to know why she sold the darn candy. My sister always thought it was to fund some political plot somewhere.

Either that or it financed a romantic get-away for her and Vondette - now, that's hot!

Did we have a librarian at OW Best?

Somehow I never thought of Ms. Santoro as the romantic type. And Vondette...that's just plain scary. I always thought he looked like a less fit Orville Redenbacher. And, yes, we had a librarian: Mr. MacDonald. He taught a few classes and was in the library the rest of the time. I know he didn't have a lot of personality, but he was always nice to me. His wife on the other hand.....

For the life of me I don't even remember a library at Best..Where was it?

It was down the first hallway to the left, once you came through the doors out of the lobby. I spent many hours in there, which probably explains my social status in those years....

Well Kathy at least you had the grades. And you know what I realize w/age...& the help of this website. We all thought that we were social inept to some point, but felt like we were raging against the machine to break out & be different. But honestly we were all sheep lead by an imaginatory image of who, what or why someone is popular & wanting to achieve it one momment & then take down the social barriers the next. We were visionarys as well. I know in my case & I think I could say some of ya may think the same...if I could go back...the only think I would change is my outlook & then let the cards fall where they may, verse trying so hard to figure out others & how to act to be liked or accepted.

Wow did I just get all serious & deep...Sorry Robert. Still under Professionalism status because of the full moon back lash.

And I missed ya all, the field trip ended early...which went good, no rain, but still wet & cold from last night rain. We all froze. Anyhow I am here just for a momment to see ya all. Gotta go get the other 2 rugrats of mine. I miss the rugrats...I watched that before I had kids.

Wow April...that was deep!!!

And see I looked at Ms. Santoro as selling the candy as a method to keep our mouths full & shut...& to establish a repour w/her students. I can honestly say..she would just buy more candy w/the money...& nerve pills.

I'm leaving for a long weekend,w/ no access to the internet. Man, I love this website!

I'm officially a nerd.

I'm over tired, still cold & I either get complete slap happy or way to analytical. I have good ideas on ocassion, but usually w/go right back to the "I sucked during High School" scar wounds.

I'll miss ya Robert...no one to check me from being to serious!

April Passen (Ochman)

It's time to go get the kids...try to check in this evening? Robert when will we being lossing you to lack of access?

I'm shutting down now, but will try from the blackberry. I'm leaving for the airport and heading to (north of) Grand Rapids.

Chainsaws and booze this weekend!

April: That would be 'too' serious. Back to business...

Ms McDonald or Ms Boulash?

Mr Porsha or Mr Bales?

I actually liked Ms. Bolash...I think she was a burnout by nature. I mean she could be mean, but most the time she was the nices person in the office other then Demaris. What was the vice Princpal's name...Mr. Winik? Now he had a job, he had no back bone & barely interact w/the students...Wait no he was the princple wasn't he & Porcha was the vice...bad cop absent cop therory?

I never had Mr. Bales? Wasn't he the boys gym teacher? What about Mr. Butkin...now he was a partier...you know he had to be. He represented & encouraged grafitti!

Hooker-Chainsaws and Booze? Count me in!

And April, I agree. I actually would be the same kind of person all of over again...I'd just care a whole lot less what others thought of me!

Chainsaws & booze sounds like our last 8 years of survival! I haven't been to a haunted house in 6 years, & Halloween is my favorite time of the year & the nothing goes better w/being creaped out then a good beer buzz.

It's late at the cabin...

25 years ago, me and Breck were signing every damn lyric to Too Fast For Love...in the mirror.

We would be screaming 'I'm a Live Wire' while my dad was trying to sleep. We really thought we were Motley Crue. It would drive him crazy! This is one of the best albums ever - period.

10/17/08 09:56 AM #64

Kathleen Robertson (King)

Hooker-did you mean "signing" or "singing"? I just imagined a great visual of you and Breck doing sign language to Motley Crue lyrics in the mirror! Must be all the booze. LOL

10/17/08 11:27 AM #65

Michele Majewski

haha Kathy..I just had a visual of them doing sign language in the mirror...funny stuff
