Not much chatter last night from Hooker. Clara must have been home.

She was actually out last night. She went to her girlfriend's house to play 'left, right, center'.

I was a little bored w/ the discussion yesterday. Sorry.

Wow I rushed home for this? Not much activity today. Robert you'll never guess what I seen on The Morning Show w/Mike & Juilet? They were talking about Alantis Lounge, I about sh**! I guess some underage girl that OD like 2 years ago parents are suing Alantis...they say that Alantis Hiring her w/her fake ID, led to her ending up dead in a Motel in Melindale so they are suing.

I am not sure her last name from Brown. I wanna say I think she was from Downriver area...either Lincoln Park, Melvindale or Southgate...It was all over the News Hearld, but now the Morning Show.

April Passen (Ochman)

Oh I just checked it out on the News Hearld web page...
17-year-old Stephanie Michelle Brown of Wyandotte, it happened March 17th 2007.

Read the Dan Robertson comments. He lived on the block behind me and our telephones shared a party line. Remember those? I don't how long it was before I found out he and Bill Miglio were listening in on my conversations. It was kind of cool though, because you could just pick up the receiver and talk to each other without dialing any numbers.

One day he asked me if I had ever played the game chicken. I didn't know what it was butI was never one to back down from a challange. We were in his garage trying to get our hands up each other's pant legs, the first one to pull away was the chicken. I was the chicken.

No offense was taken dan. I was simply commenting on a prior post, I am glad that marajuana pased with a 81% approval rate for medical use. I have freinds that could bennifit from this. I have smoked in the past. I currently could not take a bong hit as you put (lmao)given the nature of my career and licenses. I undergo drug testing at random six times a year every year and any time there is and accident or fatality,Which usualy run around 2 to 3% annualy. Even if I had a perscription I still would loose my job, The proposal that passed is a Michigan governed law and I am regulated by the Federal Government and all federal law is prevailant over any lesser juristiction ie, state, county ,local.

Just in case any of you were wondering where the 80's went, I can tell you they are alive and well in South Central PA. Went in to a store and never saw so many men with mullets. The women had what is now called Pennsylvania hair. This is bleached beyond repair with at least 3 inch root growth and the spiral perm. Did i mention leg warmers... I truly believe I have found the porthole back to the 80's. Just enter a Dollar Store.............oh, footloose was playing on muzac... God I love PA...made my whole day!!!!

Smoke dope.

Check out this tune by Oasis. It kicks ass...

I have my 14 month old sitting on my lap, and she's banging her head to it. She now has 5 teeth - more than most living in our area. Long live rock!

Didn't Mike Thomas have a sprial perm in 4th grade?

Dang--haven't checked in for awhile. I have face book and MySpace--Never check Myspace. I got them when my oldest child was 16 so I could be a sneaky ass Mom and check to see what he was doing. I guess it's double edged--Is he such a good kid because I was such a bitch or was he just genetically engineered that way? We shall see when the other 2 grow up.

You know Robert... I think he did.

Yes. Mike had the perm about 4 years before he ruined my mom's new white couch. We were drinking Pepsi w/ Skittles mixed in, and I made him laugh so hard that he had that #### coming out of his nose!

He just sat there laughing while the coach was getting soaked w/ multi-colored (and chunky) Pepsi. Needless to say, my mom wasn't too happy.

I remember Mike telling me that story. It started by him asking me if I knew that you could pass a skittle through your nose.

11/10/08 07:44 AM #763

Robert Hooker

He should have asked if you knew that an entire bag could go through your nose. Do you remember he would pass milk through his nose at Pardee? It seemed like an everyday event.

It was funny, but nasty!

Not to mention you could always see what he was eating because everyone tried to make him laugh with his mouth full...

I always felt bad that I ditched him at the winter carnival. He asked if I would go with him and I said OK ( I think this was 4th or 5th grade). When I got to school the next day, everyone was making fun of me so I bailed. Peer pressure was a killer...lol

I loved the Winter Carnival. I made a sweet 'Fall into the Winter Carnival' poster w/ a devil drawn on it (very controversial).

I had a crush on an older woman at the time - Rhonda Schulte.

Tara: I love the White Cloud stories and sorry to hear about your cousin. That's a very sad story.

When I was old enough to drink, my dad would warn me about the Lamplight and Charlie's Pub. He just told me not to make eye contact w/ any of the 'locals' and make sure no one follows us back to the cabin. The Lamplight was pretty rough back in the day.

When I was 21, a young lady asked me to dance w/ her. While we were on the floor, she started talking about her kids and said that I would make a good father.

I married her.

So when did Clara come into the picture?

LOL - Just kidding

11/10/08 11:27 AM #768

April Passen (Ochman)

Wow...I was just watching this show on ABC called "The Doctors"...speaking of things in noses...I guess the new thing that kids are doing is shots up the nose...& now brace yourself...soaking a tampon in "vodka" & either putting it where it belongs for female & up the poopper for a male. Man I am so glad I am not a high on of today! I thought I was stupid! This was not a message to gross out you all, but to let ya know what to look for w/your teens kids!!!

Now I am so damn scared...my daughter left for 5th grade camp this morning! She a good kid, going to a good school, but you here so much about kids doing so much more than we did at a younger age! Does anyone think that it is because we over-protect them...such as NOT allowing them the freedoms of riding their bikes to KMart? I wonder how bad our parents stress over making the right choices for us?

11/10/08 11:32 AM #769

April Passen (Ochman)

So John...What was your take on the stem cell research bill that passed? My thought is if we get enough testing done, hopely we can find alternative treatments, cures for the things that cause so much pain...but while waiting smoke up!

Dan, your a teacher of what age group?
