Just gave my husband a one hour swedish massage. I think I need one now. He likes his cars and massage swedish; probably his women too but he is stuck with me! :)

Want to say "hello" to Matt. Sorry, so late. We need all the chatter we can get so keep checking in and spouting off! Know anyone else from the class? Pass along the web address.

We were able to fill up my Yukon for $1.65 for the E85! I love the flex feul but it too will eventually drive the price up on corn and the like. Good thing I don't drive anywhere except to the kids schools and the stores, which are nice and close in Allen Park, now. That is one thing I will miss when we move is all the new stores on the "hill".

At one time gas was $4.35 out here and when my car got to 50.00 my husband stopped and told me that was it. It killed him to fill it. He drives a hybrid and he hates to fill my car.

I'm in the process of finding a Mini Cooper. I like my volvo wagon, especially for getting to and from the park with my wet and muddy dog, but I love the mini. It may not be that practical with two growing boys, both of which will most likely be six foot and over. My husband wants to trade in or sell my car and get a Mini for me and a Land Rover Discovery for when we need seven seats.

Mini's are German... Made by BMW. I have a BMW. I can tell you "It is the Ultimate Driving Machine". I complain about the gas but would never own anything but...

Yes, I know they are German. Originally the Mini was manufactured in England. BMW bought the brand. My husband just finished working on the BMW X5 and the X6 projects. I agree, there is nothing like german engineering.

Tracey, yes it is early, Ryann had night terrors last night, she really scared me this time, my heart still feels like it is hopping out of my chest! Since she was up from 4:30 to 6:30 a.m. she is taking a little "noozie" that is what she calls a nap. John went to his dads store to finish off the day with him. John had a half day and Big John took half day off, too. We went to lunch with Grandma, came home, changed clothes and went back to Grandma's and raked leaves for 4 hours, cleaned gutters, etc... Sad thing happened, while we out front raking I saw a big dog running toward us. Ole Grandma lives on Annapolis, corner of Weddel. Anyway, I saw this big dog coming from the other side of Annapolis and he was running fast, he kept coming and ran right in front of a car and got hit, the noise was terrible, but lucky for him a little Element or something like that hit him and he was a big thick black lab. The car was still going fast but hubby said the kind of bumper it was and the height if the car was in the dogs favor. My husband ran over to him and helped him up, he seemed stunned but let my husband touch him and feel his legs and "arms" then the owner finally come down and acted like it was nothing at all. He did get up and walked a little to one side then he took off running again. It was very sad, I hope he will be fine, he will probably be feeling it tomorrow and I hope his owner is more careful about leaving the gate open! Oh and Tracey that picture of you on Christmas morning, I totally remember you then. My mom went nuts on Christmas, still does. I actually am almost done shopping, I hide everthing next door in the closets so when the kids are over there with me, they can't see anything! I need to go over there and make my list of what I have. I am going to be brave and get my three old a drum set, not a kids one, but a real set. My nephew has one and she sits and sits and she plays that and is a natural! So a drum set she will have. I hope the neighbors like the drums!

Tara, my son Bradley used to have night terrors when he was an infant/toddler. His was kind of weird because he usually had them while in the car. If we had been traveling for more than an hour and he of course would fall asleep, he would "wake up" about a mile from home and just be inconsolable. He never truly woke up until after we were home and out of the car.

Funny thing is he always slept like a rock because of being premie and living in NICU for two weeks. All that noise going on around them all the time. I could vacuum in his room and he wouldn't wake up.

He has since outgrown the terrors.

Shannon, probably don't need to thank my husband. He was the integration project manager. His job was to make sure all the interior parts came together properly. A lot of back and forth to Munich (development) and Spartenburg S.C (manufacturing).

Either way, let him know that it is on hell of an automobile. I have been converted. Our next door neighbors have a Mini and it is one sweet ride. I told her she needed the engines that they had in the movie The Italian Job.

THAT was a great movie. I'm afraid I would end up driving like Charlize Theron!

I used to be hell on wheels and still can be but not with kids in the car. I need a car that can handle my cornering and my darting in and out when some moron is driving 65 in the left hand lane. I'm afraid I like to go fast.

I do believe the Mini would work for you just fine...

Off to help with homework.

April, I want to discuss your daughter at camp but need to go right now.

Be back later.

My Hubhby will not let me decorate the outside of the house like a bad Christmas movie so---The inside of the house---gets done---and done well. I think he wonders how I put 15 stings of lights on an 8 foot tree. Christmas this year will be scaled back--way scaled back. Usually we buy each of the volunteer firefighters, their wives and their kids a present (my husband is the chief)and I buy all the kids I treat a present there are about 50 of them. This year I don't think they all will be getting something. The sad thing is that I don't even know if we will adopt a family this year. With 1 kid in college and 2 small ones it is difficult. But, all will be o.k.

Tracey you still doing homework?

All I got to say about gas is...I have a FULL size Dodge van that when I first got it filling it up cost $40.00 that was 2003. I've since filled it up twice for over $100, so now I don't fill up, $80 is my limit...but w/the prices falling...last week at $1.96 a gallon...$60 did it! WooHoo...I was pleased!
