Now theres a question??? Do kids to day still call it "Going with"? What a term we used...where were we going? Most of the time my "Going with" was over the phone in early years, then it moved up to borrowing Atari games from each other. I only really "went" to the dairy queen w/one I was "going with" once. Then came my "first real love"....then we lived & breath everything together. John remembers...we use to fight over the front seat...LOL But seriously...The "Will you go with me"? What a strange way to say lets date, go steady...whatever!

Guys, Guys, Guys....What do I say. I like Aprils P/C (politically correct) way of saying the other side, being a hippie is ok with me too. Referring the place I grew up as the slum, that is harsh. April, we better let Helen know about that one too.

Dan,

Mom and Dad bought their house in 1964...We weren't poor till 1984 (still weren't that poor) My Dad decided since I was the last one at home he could start his own business.

Gwen...I really don't think Robert was refering to social economically challenged as his reference to the East of Pelham, but more of the jocks verse burnouts. Seriously...Pardee was almost 100% jocks, almost, there were the Zains, Passens, Hallups, Haskills, etc...but most were jocks. Then Madison & Polk were 50/50, then Bedford was more burnout then jocks, but there were a few exceptions.

Dan you're better then I, I don't watch the parade & I live here.

But April!!!!

I'm in a bitchy mood today and being a brat--I'm good at that. It's all my husbands fault because I am a spoiled brat--ok well you can blame my Dad too if your looking for 2 people to blame. I sincerely apologize, I always get this way before the holidays. My poor hubby tries to make me happy--If we go to Michigan I complain because I am cold; if we stay here I get bratty because I want my mommy.

Wallace: I would have broken up w/ any chick w/ a concert bill like that!

Who's going to be on the 'board' tonight?

Gwen Norman (Martin)

I am still cleaning carpets. Robert you really need a dyson if you don't have one. Any way I had a thought while being a baby. The look on my Daddy's face when we told him I was pregnant. I think if he wasn't 66 when we told him he would have killed my husband.

Gwen Norman (Martin)

I see Hooker not talking huh?? Are you having to spend Thanksgiving alone or is your family coming home?

11/26/08 08:45 PM #1056

I'm home alone tonight, again. I'm going to Michigan tomorrow morning.

Gwen Norman (Martin)

I'm sorry your alone but, at least you can see them tomorrow. Hoosiers is a pretty good movie. Things I never thought I would like I like now. I am a maniac at football games (ok I do tone it down at the pee-wee games which are like whatever they called the redskins) I can't wait till my baby plays high school ball so I can yell again every Friday night. I think I am union I take a break about every 10 minutes..

The Monkees reunion tour was happening at the same time as Van Halen's 5150 tour. Mickey Dolenz and Eddie Van Halen were my favorites!

I want you to listen/watch two clips...

Van Halen 5150...

Alter Bridge's Blackbird...

This is the best song I've heard in 17 years. Seriously.

Rock and roll!
