It is the annual Masonic Celebration. It is held every year the week of the 24th of June (St. John's birthday). It has been held here for the last 138 years. This past June '08 my oldest son was the King. My understanding is that it hurts like crap. My husband retired this year from fighting after he fought once with our oldest son. He will come out of retirement in 2019 when our youngest son will be able to fight.

I am glad I am not the only one who is OCD. Just finished for the night. Since I have been home I have....cooked supper, started to clean the carpet, tried to clean the microfiber sofa---I used carpet cleaner it didn't work, now I have tried rubbing alcohol, then tried Windex, if one of those work I will go get more because it looks dirty. Oh! I washed the walls in the family room too. I am off Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun so I will clean until it shines. If I have time I plan to hang some more dry-wall--God I need to win the lottery so I can be a domestic goddess--that is my secret passion in life.

Sorry. I turned it off after about 12 seconds. It's not my kind of music.

Seriously, I love Alice in Chains. I have listened to their music more than anyone else. I was the biggest fan in 1992, when I met them at a house party. Their 2nd album 'dirt' had just come out, along w/ the movie, 'singles'. Long story made short, the original bass player, Mike Starr, invited me and my roommate (MSU) to their concert (the following night). It was the coolest two nights in my entire life. Honest.

He asked me when we first started dating "Do you like Alice in Chains?" I replied "I usually prefer Alice in leather & eyeliner! There is only one Alice in Rock...& it's Cooper!"

April Passen (Ochman) John...he's on vacation...but has to go back tomorrow for one day...2 days off...then this is his weekend to work. The whole world is scarey right now...cuz my hubby works for edison...friends calling asking stupid questions...like will I go to jail for hooking back up my electrity after they turned me off? I realize times are hard, but hey don't envolve us...lol

Robert Hooker I never stay up this late. Is Helen mad at me? I'm scared. Have I told the story about going to jail on my 22nd birthday? Wallace was w/ me (before I was handcuffed). I just looked at the pictures of my girls. Aren't they beautiful? Yes! I'm still listening to Daughtry. Seriously, listen to 'What I Want' w/ Slash. The guitar solo kicks ass! Rock and roll!

This is embarassing, but my first (non-christian) concert was the following:

Opening bands:
Herman's Hermits
The Grass Roots (Creed from the tv show the Office's band)
Gary Pucket and the Union Gap

And Headlining the show...

THE MONKEES!!!!!

Romas was with me and we got tickets from this girl I was "going with" 's dad got them and took us to the show.

The relationship didn't last. I broke up with her shortly after the concert. Also, she lived too close to the creek on detroit street. I think I was tired of slumming and had to aim my sights higher.

My love for The Monkees also was short lived.

Wow...Wallace I have a new respect for you to be able to admit that!!! Brass Balls! Robert I am sure will tease. But I too was a Monkee's fan...still love Mickey, his daughter is a hottie too...where did she go? She played in that movie way back w/Tony Danza...She's Out of Control.

You know...I can honestly say I only dated one guy from the "other side"...but it was when I was 19 & he was 23, but he grew up in Livonia...but he was the most extreme alcoholic I had ever met. Drank all day long, even at work, just after his coffee, chase it with a beer.
