Ok...now I have some bad news to share...Pat Harton passed away this weekend. Details are not known at this time due to lack of information that the prison is giving to the family. If you need to juggle your memory of who he is or what he looked like, his picture is current on OTIS. If anymore information is sought, please contact me in private messages.

And Tracey...my hubby is a class of 89ner, about 16 months age difference...& I'm raising a baby! Bad time for this subject...we just had a spin of stomach flu go through the house...started EARLY Thursday morning, it's been through everyone but me & 2 are still suffering. So yeah...I've got issues of being a caregiver right now.

Shannon...I love me some saved puppy. Nothing better, once you get them comfortable that you won't hurt them, but then there always seems to be some long lasting rememberances to them of what they went through.

Oh & Hello Stan!

April: You seem to know a lot of people that have passed on; are incarcerated; or need to be. You scare me - even though you lived north of Annapolis.

I know this is weak, but I downloaded Daughtry tonight. This guy rocks and has great hooks.

This is why Van Halen is the greatest rock band in the world!

Don't be a dork - check it out and crank up the volume.

Hooker,

We have raised our 18 year old right. His I-Tunes account includes AC/DC, Def Leppard, Ted Nuggent etc. etc. I can't get him to listen to Dokken though he just doesn't get it. The little ones are starting to know the words to selected songs---They are too smart and understand some of the lyrics that they shouldn't. Kids these days know more than what we knew when we were that little. My 3rd grader knows the word sex and that disturbs me.

First concert was Dokken/Aerosmith at Joe Louis Arena - December 5th, 1987. They were supporting their Back for the Attack album, and opened w/ 'Kiss of Death'.

George Lynch rules!

Cara Onkalo (Fitzpatrick)

My favorite Dokken song is Dream Warriors. It was in Nightmare on Elm Street Part III.

I thought the song was weak, but it's cool that you like a Dokken song. Steve Fry and I had a tape, that included the song 'Back for the Attack'. It was on the 'nightmare' soundtrack...

Fry: 'You need love and now I'm back!'

Dop you remember the 'trick or treat' soundtrack w/ Fastway?

All I think about when I see Dokken is the dork from Beavis & Butthead, even though his shirt said Winger. Sorry but never liked Dokken.

Robert...Yes I do know quit a few of incareriated people. Either I had hung w/or knew someone who did hang w/them. I actually am still good friends w/Teddy, never hung w/his brother. Remember their mother was a DH cop. Ted is doing well w/3 kids, one divorce but still w/last baby's momma. He works for Fords so his life is a little scarey right now w/the big 3 being so bad off. Other then that Ted has been just a drinker since he was like 17. We use to be coffee or drink buds back in the Long Dollar days. I still have a few friends from that era that are doing pretty good, not in jail nor should they be. We do end up running into each other alot at funerals...Steve Cochran, Shelly Hallup, Jimmy Lalonde, Bobby Tacker, our parents, & now Pat Harton. Oh another who had been in jail that you might be surprised at was Ronnie Miller. Last I knew he was out, but not sure. Now his brother David I seen after the last funeral I went too, & he is doing rather well. He is married w/kids... looks like he fell off a ZZTop cover, he's well employed & in a motorcycle gang.
Weird how something work. Some you excepted things to happen to & others you didn't.

I love Daugherty I swore I'd never watch American Idol again when he got kicked off, but then I swore the same when Bo loss. But Bo has been kind of a disappointment. I don't like how damn skinny he is, looks like he's on drugs.

See even though I might have lived a half dangerous life as a dumb youngster...I still feel for those who could not get off the path. It could of been me, & worse yet for those who took this path & had children that they abandoned or left screwed up because of their poor choices. Sorry feeling a little sentimential as well as counting my blessings.

Now the Trick or Treat movie had the Oz man in it. The movie sucked but I seen it several times at the Drive in, I went through a phase where we spend every Friday at the drive in to party. I'd only stop & watch Oz as a Preacher.

Oh and didn't somewhere someone mention the Cuffe sisters? I heard a grapevine rumor while passing along the Pat Harton info. Anyone else here anything? It was about April & something that happened this summer? Now I 2 different people who have heard 2 different stories each, for a total of 4 stories...but each all kinda end up the same in away.

And Robert...Eddie rocks..but not my favorite VH song. I like Little Guitars better. Now you got me & my hubby aruging about what was the best VH album...I say Van Halen 2, he says Fair Warning...thanks!!!

11/25/08 02:32 PM #1006

April Passen (Ochman)

Now I seen Aerosmith w/G'N'R....I loved Aerosmith! Best sounding band I ever seen live. Now I have heard back in early 80's while they were big into drugs that they sucked lived, but then when they turned around & toned it down...they rocked. Steve Tyler & those lips could put so many sexy ooos, & ahhhs in a song...it was better then the album.

Now my hubby also wants me to confess...that I did REALLY like Rob Zombie in concert...I seen w/the Oz & was shocked at how well he rocked & I liked it!

Ronnie Miller: Wasn't his nickname 'sour milk'? Not sure why, but he didn't like it.

Clara and the girls went back to Michigan on Sunday, so I've been at the house w/ more time to 'post'. I really am a geek.

Best VH album has to be Van Halen I. It's loud and has a real sonic sound! VH II and Fair Warning are awesome. Greatest songs include...

On Fire, I'm the One, Women in Love, Romeo Delight, Unchained, So This is Love?, The Full Bug, Girl Gone Bad, and of course, Little Guitars (w/ the intro).

April: Who's Ted?

You're going to think I'm ridiculous, but listen to this...

It's Dokken playing Santa Clause is Coming to Town. It rocks. Listen to the entire song.

Gwen Norman (Martin)

Hooker,

You still lurking?

11/25/08 09:05 PM #1010

Gwen Norman (Martin)

O.K. Hooker you like Utube so here goes. This is what we do for fun---LOL

11/25/08 09:26 PM #1011

Robert Hooker

Lurking? I'm always watching. I feel it's my responsibility.

The video's cool. I'm hoping it was a warm day.

Hooker my hubby says he thinks you'll like the video above. I think the guy looks like Sylar from Heroes.

Oh & Ted Harton...was class of 89, but failed in somewhere to be class of 90.

11/25/08 09:34 PM #1014

April Passen (Ochman)

Or my favorite...

My kids like the Dokken Christmas song. I can't believe how many rock xmas music they have.

Now here's another good one, my hubby's pissed that the car wasn't a muscle car. He is also asking why I keep typing when no one is typing back...I told him I always type to myself. Then he said...they must all be watching Dancing w/the Stars..LOL

OH speaking of TV...Tracey that was like a great Boston Legal last night...I was laughing & Crying...I'm gonna miss that show.

11/25/08 09:55 PM #1016

Robert Hooker

Tell you husband I like the first song. It rocks! I don't normally dig songs that others recommend.

I just listened to it for a second time. The vocals sounds like Nickelback and the guitars are similar to Slash and Velvet Revolver. Rock and roll forever.

11/25/08 09:59 PM #1017

Robert Hooker

I don't know any of these tv shows. Honestly, I have ADD and am obsessive compulsive. I don't like being unproductive and am constantly cleaning when no one is home. Betcha didn't know this about me.

'Over You' by Daughtry is awesome.

I really don't have ADD.

April Passen (Ochman)

Now this hubby has learned a new respect for Fergie after watching it.

The correct acronym is ADHD...Attention Defict Hyper Activity Disorder...not just attention defict disorder. That would cover the hyperness...a clean freak are ya...so are you anal about it?

11/25/08 10:14 PM #1019

Robert Hooker

Yes and it drives my wife crazy. I can't help it. I can't relax until everything is in it's proper place and germ-free. I was wet swiffering the floors earlier and just finished rubbing old english on the cabinets. I also vacuumed and left the 'lines' on the carpet.

Again, I can't help it.
