In the early fall semester of my junior year my parents decided that moving to Dearborn would be a smart idea. So, I finished up my high school career as a Dearborn High School Pioneer. But since I spilt my high school years I consider myself a bit of both--cougar and pioneer.

After high school I attended Eaastern Michigan University where I received my BS in communications. Immediately after finishing undergrad, I moved to Chicago (bright lights, big city dreams) where I worked (and still do) in the healthcare industry doing public relations and marketing. A few years into work, I started grad school at DePaul University where I earned an MPA in 2000.

I work full time, do part time motivational speaking, have an awesome husband and great kids. My life is insanely busy, but I can't say that I don't love every minute of it. I really have it all.
