Comments:

Post-DHS, I attended Michigan State Univ. (BS, Chemistry), then moved to Boulder, CO, then on to Bozeman, MT (MS, Physical Chem., Montana State), then to Reno (Ph.D., Chemical Physics, UNR), then to California, then back to Bozeman, then to Boston, then to Princeton, NJ...then finally to Colorado Springs in 2007 where I spent a brief period with New England Securities / MetLife as a broker before joining Elsevier, Inc. Never bothered to unpack. Met Kelley when she was one of my students in Boulder in 1990, married in 2004. We'd stayed in touch by letters, pre-Email era, for a dozen years, and she was great friends with one of my climbing partners...so things just kind of worked out.

Finn arrived and changed the whole picture. Looking forward to sharing a rope with him someday. For now, he's a Handful.

I'm pretty sure I owe Chris Thiry a plane ticket...

Top of the first and nobody out...peering up the off-width slot on the first ascent of "Kelley's Crack", The Nose, Humbug Spires, MT. 6/20/04. Twenty years later and still too dumb to quit.
