In Memory

Cathy Morey

Cathy Morey

A brief note from one of her friends, Barb Kizer:

Cathy was born on October 21, 1950 in Germany. Her father was a career service man. Cathy lived there and in Japan and then the family settled in Dearborn Heights where she entered the 2nd grade.

Cathy lived there until her death from cancer on November 27, 2020.

Please when thinking of her, remember her contagious laugh and her wonderful smile.

So sorry to hear about Cathy's passing, my prayers to her family. I had a lot of fun hanging out with her in our High School days. She fit right in with our little gang of Saturday Night Jolly Roger Drive In movies. We always sat next to each other to watch the movies because we liked the way each of us laughed. Cathy had a care free additude and was always smilling. The news brought a tear to my eye and a smile to my face as I flashed back to those precious times we shared. God bless you Cathy and receive you with open arms and a smile.

What a great girl Cathy was. Met her in 9th grade & she accepted me for who I was. She always was so down to earth. We use to eat lunch together in the cafeteria at Lowrey. She was always upbeat. Sorry she's gone now. Eternal rest, grant unto her, oh Lord...

I am so sad we lost another Polar Bear!   So many have died so young!   I remember her beautiful blonde hair and her semi-shy personality.  She was such a beautiful "girl next door" type with her precious smile!  Blessings to the Morey family and I am so sorry for your loss. I pray Cathy didn't suffer very much.  Thank you Barb Kizer for the bit of background on Cathy.  You were obviously a very dear friend to her as well as many others.
