Pattie Terry Curtis

Worked for a number of years for The Boeing Company in Huntsville, AL on Redstone Arsenal and in New Orleans, LA. Met and married Jim in 1966. After he returned from Vietnam we moved to Memphis, TN. Jim was a pilot,was in the Army for a while,in Vietnam and then an Air Traffic Controller. Lived in Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, Puerto Rico, Nevada, Oklahoma and Florida. In business in Gulf Shores, AL, for awhile, 'PINK PONY PUB" on the beach. It is still there, we rebuilt after Hurricane "Freddie" took it out into the gulf in 1979. Took three years off after Jim retired and just went RVing around the country. That's how we ended up in Las Vegas. Lots of fun and met a lot a nice people. Have not attended a reunion but was looking forward to visiting with old classmates at the 50th. Sorry to see that some of my friends are no longer with us. We will not be able to attend, however, as the reunioin conflicts with our trip to California and Ohio. We were thinking about moving back to North Alabama, this house is getting to be too big and the yard is killing us. We need to be thinking about something smaller with a yard that can be cut with a "weed eater" !!
Hope you all have a great time at the reunion, hope to see some of you in the future, especially those of you who still live in and around Decatur.

In order to keep my profile updated - just the usual things going on - I did break my leg and am now going through physical therapy. I should be back to normal (whatever that is) in just a few weeks.

What a year 2009 has been. I hope that 2010 will be better. Getting ready to do the political scene. Have some candidates to support and a lot to get out of office.
