Way too much to start trying to type. Still the toughest loss I've ever dealt with and I'm sure alot feel this way.I see Hues brother Mike every once in awhile he is a policeman here in decatur. I saw his mom a couple of years ago at lunch and we shared some laughs. I think they are still living in a lake house in Athens. Im going to call her and see if she would be interested in a group of us paying her a visit or maybe taking a visit with her to Hues gravesite sometime that weekend. I'll check with her and update.

I saw both of Hue's parents at a 4th of July party. They seem to be doing well. I personally think about him very often, I guess when something like that happens when you are young it makes a big impact. Every graduation season I am constantly reminded of Hue. He really had a Ferris Bueller like quality the way he got along with and was friends with every body/group/clique.

Hue-
We all still miss you. I tell my classes every year about you and how that is one of the most devastating things that can happen to a group of people. You were an awesome individual that lived outloud. God bless you.

Hue, you have not been forgotten. I met your brother Mike about a year after graduation. The funny thing was, neither of us realized we were talking about the same "HUE". One night while working, we went to the cafeteria and I pointed to your name on the wall. I told him that you were a great friend to us all and you were missed dearly. I looked at him and he had tears in his eyes. I asked what was wrong and he said that you were his brother. To this day we are still friends. He is doing well. Don't worry about any of us, you have watched over us well.

I still think of Hue a lot. My son even knows about him and I will tell my daughter, also. I think his life touched a lot of people, even after he left us.

Hue,
From the day I met you when we were about 6 (You were at the library with Brad Rodgers right before we were both starting 1st grade with Mrs. Ward ... I think we even asked her to put our desks next to each other) until the moment I heard about the accident I always liked and respected you. You will always be one of the true good guys in my mind.
