Ok...so here we go again. I got locked out of my account for the longest and couldn't do anything with it. I am a special ed teacher with the Madison County School System - I work in the Learning Center with the Mentally Retarded and Disabled... they are just wonderful people and make the world a much better place!!! I am going on my 6th year as a teacher and have finally found my calling. I graduated from Athens State in 1992 and went to work for Sartain Ford as the Warranty Administrator for the better part of 10 years...then went back to school to become a teacher after I got involved in Girl Scouts with my daughter and realized I love working with kids so much. We still live in good old Decatur - and probably always will. We actually really enjoy it here. It has changed a bit, though, since 1988. My daughter, Jordan, is in high school this year. She goes over to Sparkman with me every day. She is a competition cheerleader with Xtreme Phlips in Madison and keeps us busy, busy, busy with practices and competitions. We are big animal people around our house, too. We have 2 great danes and 6 cats (at one time, 9)...we had 2 pet rats at one time, too, but they died of old age - go figure.
