Brief history of your life after DHS:

Met Ray in Wash, DC while he was in the navy, and I was working for the CIA. Lived in Cincinnati & Dayton for 8 yrs. Lived in CA for 19 years, working for various Hi-Tech companies before moving to Phoenix. Lived in Tempe for 12 years; Ray retired in 2008. I retired in May 2012, and moved to Oregon. Moved back to AZ and bought a house in San Tan Valley in Oct. 2015 to be closer to grandkids and enjoy wonderful winters.

What is your favorite/funniest memory of DHS?

Being in the 1957 Sr. school play and all the band memories.

What is your worst/most embarrassing memory of DHS?

Mr.Green telling me diplomatically that because my hand writing was bad, I should try to write SMALLER.

Who was your favorite high school teacher and why?

Charlotte Clingaman - because I liked the subjects so well and knew I wanted to work in an office.

What would we be surprised to know about you?

I taught Sunday School for 4 years.

What are your hobbies/pastimes?

Sewing, cross-stitching, quilting, reading, walking.

How do you relax?

Reading, sewing, napping

What are some cool things you've done?

Won 2nd place in a Chili Cook-off. Gone deep-sea fishing Bay Area San Francisco. Saw Phantam of the Opera in San Francisco. New Year's Eve in Las Vegas 2003. Attended Ray's Navy buddies reunion after 45 years in Vegas

Travels?

Lots of tourist spots in California and Arizona.

Favorite place you've ever been?

Sedona, AZ and Carmel, CA

Have you ever fulfilled a dream?

Still looking forward to it.

It's difficult to express how sad it was to hear of Lyle's passing. Wendy & I grew up with Lyle as our neighbor across the street. So many memories; he was such a great guy & friend & will always be remembered so fondly.
