Roger A. "Bob" Daoust
Roger A. "Bob" Daoust, 56, Plymouth , MI, died Friday, May 2, in Belleville, Ml. He was born January 1, 1947, in Defiance, OH to William and Maxine Stoll Daoust. He married Janet Roehrs on September 5, 1970, and she survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Julie) Kelley of Kalamazoo, MI, and Mrs. Ryan (Suzan) Quick, Grand Haven, MI; his mother of Defiance; a sister, Barbara Hasselschwert, Defiance; and five brothers, William of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Thomas of Glendale, AZ, David and Douglas of Defiance, and Gerald, High Point. NC. Preceding him in death was his father.
He was a US Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam War and worked at Thompson-McCully Co. L.L.C. He was a former Defiance City fire fighter, former Bowling Green State University policeman, member of DAV and Herman Hesselschwardt Detachment #758 of the Marine Corps League, and life member of VFW 3360.
Services were held Tuesday at the- Mast-Mock·Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance, OH with Rev. Robert Seltz, Father John Stites, and Rev. Joel Brandt officiating. Burial at Riverside Cemetery. Defiance, OH.
Preferred memorials were designated to Herman Hesselschwardt Detachment #758 of the Marine Corp. League or to the donor's choice.
Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance, OH, handled the arrangements.

PLYMOUTH, Mich. Defiance native Roger (Bob) A. Daoust, 56, Plymouth, Mich., died Friday in Belleville, Mich. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Seiltz and Father John Stites officiating. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donors choice.
