James Gollihue, 65, Defiance, died Sunday afternoon, July 11, 2010, from injuries sustained in a vehicle/train crash just west of Defiance. Arrangements are pending at HanenkrathClevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance.

James Gollihue
James Lee Gollihue 65, Defiance, Ohio, died Sunday, July 11, 2010, from injuries sustained in an accident at the railroad crossing on Tittle Road.
He was born April 15, 1945, in Matewan, W.Va., the son of William and Ada (Hall) Gollihue. On June 23, 1970, he married Maggie Partin, who survives.
He was a millwright at GM Powertrain, retiring in 2009 after 46 years, and a member of UAW Local 211 Retirees. He was also a social member of VFW Post 3360.
Surviving are his wife, Maggie Partin Gollihue, Defiance; two daughters, Tina Gollihue of Napoleon, Ohio, and Sabrina Gollihue, Defiance; six grandchildren; and a sister, Wanda Nelly, Defiance.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Henry Starr and Billy Gollihue.
Graveside services will be private at Riverside Cemetery, Defiance, on Thursday, July 15, 2010. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance.
