Mary McCabe: Mary Speedy I. McCabe, 58, Defiance, died at 6:26 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, in Toledo Hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1947, in Cotulla, Texas, the daughter of Frank and J. Beatrice (Solic) Gonzales. She worked at Zeller Corp. for 18 years, was a member of Eagles Aerie 372 Auxiliary and shot pool for many years.

Surviving are her mother, Bea Gonzales, Defiance; a daughter, Shayna Gonzales, Defiance; a son, Jesse McCabe, Defiance; a brother, Franco Gonzales, Defiance; and a grandson. Preceding her in death was her father. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Marys Catholic Church with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens at a later date. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Mast-Mock- Hoffman Funeral Home, with a vigil service at 8 p.m. Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donors choice.

Mary McCabe Services for Mary (Speedy) I. McCabe were Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Organist was Bill Beber. Burial was in Riverview Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Pride and John Solis, Don Roehrig, Franco Gonzales, Jesse McCabe and Bob Lang.

Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
