(Annie) Valerie Williams Spalding

After our DHS years, I happily got to spend two fun years at FSU, until my parents had a job transfer move to St Louis, MO, where I found myself shanghai'd as well. All wasn't totally lost, as I ended up meeting my future husband at the pool I lifeguarded at, the same summer I moved :-) Went on to complete my Business Adm degree work in Marketing Management at SEMO, graduating spring of 1981. Worked for awhile in real estate, then managing long-haul truck drivers for Roadway, ran a small paper warehouse, sold jewelry, helped managed my husband's sales business for years, traveled for a school supply company, then loved working part-time for many years at an extremely busy & popular Tea Room & Antique Store in SouthWest MO, were I also had antique-to-junk booths. Did lots of volunteer stuff for my girl's schools during the years they were growing up...like getting hooked, by the principal, into playing the kooky redheaded "Mrs Frizzle" character (from The Magic School Bus stories) for a couple of years at various school functions..hahaha! Also ran the Springfield MO PTA Clothing Bank and sat on my sorority's House Corporation Board for awhile. I got to move back in DeLand a few years ago, when my husband got transferred to manage the SE territory & we keep busy with travel, lots of projects, friends & family :-)

Got about 3-5 books going right now. Guess I'm never without something to read...there is just sooo sooo much to learn out there!! Currently studying Tao, various books on The Secrets of The Golden Flower, quantum physics, the body-mind connection,....

Keep building several different kinds of stations on Pandora for all of my different moods/needs--what a terrific way to get just what one wants to hear!
