Hummmm?? Since 1979… I majored in sacred music in college, moved to New York City in my early 20’s, and met Stephen, a native NYC, New Yorker, ironically while visiting Florida, in 1985. We married August 23, 1986 and settled in Boynton Beach. I was Director of Music/ Organist / Pianist at Ascension Catholic Church in Boca Raton until our daughter was born in 1990, and I became a full time Mom. Our son was born in 1993. I have home schooled Elicia & Stephen for the past 13 years. They will be graduating from A Beka Academy (the umbrella home school and curriculum we use) in May 2010. I love being a full time Mom, it is exceedingly time consuming, however it has been the most rewarding activity of my life!!
At 5, Elicia became interested in learning the violin, Stephen was 3, their violins were so tiny they looked like Christmas ornaments! They both studied classical violin for 12 years and were members of various youth orchestras for many years. In 2004 they were granted auditions with a professional orchestra, The Venice Symphony, where they have been members ever since, they have also performed with the Sarasota Pops.
Their real interest is competitive ice skating, she started figure skating and he played hockey, until one day their coaches insisted they try ice dancing together. It was not a big hit at first; however, it grew on them. Along with skating, they have decided to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine.
We have 5 of the sweetest, most loving dogs and one Moluccan Cockatoo. Stephen & I acquired the bird four months after we married, so Samantha has been with us from the beginning.
Stephen has started a new company in renewable energy. We have always been extremely environmentally conscience and are currently working on 2MW of solar power generation and Anaerobic Digester financing. It is fascinating work!!! I help him where I can while working my own business over the internet.
I was so pleased to find this website and learn about everyone’s life over the past 30 years. What a great way to keep in touch. May God continue to bless you and your families with health, happiness, prosperity but most of all love.
