Lots have happened since then. Left Denton for service in Navy for basic training in Orlando, Florida. In 1970 I was transferred to Naval Training Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Later that year I was transferred to NAS Miramar, California (Fighter Town). Served with VF-121 Peacemakers and VF-213 World Famous Fighting Black Lions, aboard the USS Kitty Hawk aircraft carrier, making two Westpac cruises, Vietnam, and Southeast Asia. Made one North Atlantic merger aboard the USS America, challenging Russian airspace. After discharge, I worked for the Denton Police Department and later was Chief Criminal Investigator for the Denton County Sheriff's Department. Later, I raised cattle on my ranch in Ellis County, Oklahoma. Moved back to Denton and worked for Victor Equipment Company until retirement. Currently I am living in Krum, Texas.
