Retired in 2008 after 34 years in Texas public schools. The last 26 in Denton as a principal. Now serving on the Denton City Council in my first term along with Pete Kamp (DHS 1971) who is our mayor pro-tem. Donna retired in 2009 and we are loving the flexible schedule and more relaxed mornings. Life is good.

Band was a great part of my high school experience. It was great to be a principal in Denton when we named a middle school after Mr. McMath. I also have great memories of Key Club, Boy Scout Troop 140, and the friends who relocated (never stealing) street signs. Best memories include Mr. Favors' government class, Mrs. Shufford's English class, band, stage band with Mr. Lang, and choir.
