CLASS OF 1970 55TH REUNION INFORMATION
Details are now set for our upcoming 55 Year Reunion. The Reunion will be held on Saturday, October 25th at Robson Ranch. The event will be from 6:30 to 10:30 PM. Please mark this date on your calendar and use the link on the homepage to respond to the event. If you are unable to do that, send an email to thepetefleming@yahoo.com with your plans to attend or not attend, and as appropriate names of your guest.
The event will include light finger food including Prime Rib sliders, Chicken Wings, Crab Cakes, Spring Rolls, Coconut Shrimp, and desserts. There will be a cash bar available for beer, wine and mixed drinks.
You are welcome to wear your tuxedo, ball gown, ruby red slippers or whatever pleases you, but most us will sport casual dress (Blue Jeans, etc but no Speedo’s allowed).
Hotels in the Denton area are already filling up for local events, so we recommend making any reservations for accommodations as soon as possible. If you are coming in from out of town, a few classmates have offered accommodations in their homes (although some are an hour away from the venue). If you are interested, contact Pete Fleming.
Recognizing that many of us are retired and living on fixed incomes, we are excited to announce that some of our blessed classmates have agreed to “Pay it Forward” to make this event affordable for all. Thanks to their generosity, there is NO CHARGE for the first 100 classmates and guests who register. So get after it and register today!
For those who are not in the first 100 registrants, do not despair. Worst case, you can pay at the door - but we are confident that no one will have to pay to come. That is because some additional folks in the class have indicated a desire to make a donation. If you are so inclined – contact Pete for details.
