My dear friend Gay! What a horrific loss to the world. I have MANY great but private memories of our friendship from high school. Truly she gave my life purpose at a time when I most needed it. I will never forget her and will treasure her in my heart always.
Richard Cox, Dave Emler, Gay and myself were all in Clinton Bowman's history class together. We had a lot of fun teasing Gay and she was such a good sport.
In 1988 at the all school reunion, I saw Gay and she looked vibrant and her happy self. It really shocked me when I learned of her death.
Gaye we go all the way back to Plains. We had so much fun with each other! I remember us learning to drive our dads old pick-up trucks back and forth to each others house. High school was fun it had it's ups and downs but we got out !!! I miss you so and think of you often BFF Pam
I remember when Gay and Pam started going to our school. In my memories, it always seemed if you saw one, you saw the other.
I saw Gay at the last reunion (I guess the last). She, Brenda Crittenden Grimes and I spent some time betting on the "Cow Bingo" which they had to explain to me. Gay looked the best I had ever seen her!
I was sadden by her death! Pam, the "BFF" added to your note touched me. She would have liked that a lot!
By our senior year we had gotten to be good friends. In fact by the time of our Prom in 1969, both of us were unattached so we went together, laughed and just had the best time. I appreciate Ralph remembering Coach Bo's history class. The three of us were unrelenting on giving you a hard time but you gave it right back to us. It was only a few years ago that I saw you and your husband in Arlington at an Advocare rally and you looked great and were so happy. I was so sorry to learn of your way too early passing. We will miss you at our reunion but we will not forget you.
What a wonderful person, so full of life and a smile on her face everytime I saw her. I can remember flirting with her everytime I got a chance. She had such a sexy, coy look she would give you, like you had a chance of getting a hug and a kiss if you flirted a little longer. How I wished it would have happened!
She had such a love for life and enjoyed it, laughed and entained us all. What a beautiful person to have touched all of our lives! She will forever be burned into my memories of High School and Life.
