I am sorry to hear about Tom’s passing. I lost track of him after high school. But I have fond memories of him in high school, and it doesn't surprise me that he went on to get an MBA and be a successful accountant.  I will always rember him and Dave Williams as being the only ones who had the good sense, that when they rode with me, to climb into the back seat and lay down on the floor board until we made it to our destination.  I am sure that he made the world a better place just by being in it.

Oh I do remember--the young Tom Roe who shared my St. Dominic elementary years and Cathedral high school years. The Dominican Sisters loved Tom and were certain he would become a priest (like they were certain I was supposed to be a nun--funny).  Tom will be forever etched in my memories as the polite, rather shy guy, who could always be counted on.  I will be out of town on the 27th, however, the family, friends and classmates will be covered in my prayers. Enjoy your new life in Heaven, Tom.  Someday we'll see each other again.

So sad to hear. Won't be able to make it to his funeral but my prayers are with his family.

I too knew Tom as a neighbor from about 5 houses away and at St. Dominics. I even dated him once. He was a quiet, but, what I felt, a self directed and determined individual. Our love and blessings to his family and friends. He is on to greater things.

My condolences  to Tom's family. At CHS Tom was a great friend to many of our classmates.

Tom will always be remembered as a good guy and will be missed.

Love to all of his friends and family

In the months leading up to our 50th high school reunion, it was the committee's goal to locate everyone who had been in our class.  Through a circuitous route, I got a message to Tom.  Just yesterday (July 26th), I came upon his email  back to me.  "Now," he said, "even my high school classmates are harassing me."  I just had  to laugh whn I read that.  Looking back, I am now suspecting that maybe Tom was not feeling well at the time of the reunion thus acounting for his absence as a few of us remember him being at earlier reunions.

I, too, remember Tom as a fun and kind person....such a gentleman, athletic, a good student, easy to talk to......

May he rest in peace.  Prayers for Tom and his family.

I too remember Tom from St. Dominic's and Cathedral.  One thing I remember from grade school is when Louise was having a slumber party and we decided to tee pee his house!  He wasn't even home and his dad cleaned up all the tee pee before he saw it!  I don't remember if he found out but I'm sure if he did he loved it!  Although I am sad that he had to leave us, he will always be remembered.
