Diana Culver died in an accident in St. Louis on 5/18/07 She was an RN,MSW, PhD and had many published articles in nursing and medical journals. She also raised and bred Cocker Spaniels at her family kennel in Ozark, MO. She was one of the FIRST graduating class of St. Theresa that became members of Dowling/ SJA class of 59 .

Diane Veehoff
Diane Veehoff, RN, LCSW, Ph.D. 65, of Ozark, was killed in an auto accident in St. Louis May 18.

Diane was born Oct. 2, 1941, in Chicago to Gary and Margaret Culver.
She held degrees from Mercy School of Nursing, Drake University, the University of Iowa and Columbia Pacific University. She worked at the Shealy Institute, St. John's Hospital, Skagg's Hospital and Drury University.
Diane had established a private practice in individual and family therapy in recent years.
She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Ozark. Her faith and spiritual development were very important to her.
She was active in the community, particularly the Springfield Dog Training Club, where she could be found teaching classes and working with her Cocker Spaniel, Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her eldest son, Ed.
Diane is survived by her husband, Joseph Veehoff, a daughter, four sons and their families, as well as her three sisters and her brother and two step-children.
Funeral services for Diane are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, June 1 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with a luncheon to follow.

Authorities identify those killed on I-44 last week
Authorities have identified two people killed Friday in a traffic pileup on Interstate 44 near the Bowles Avenue exit in Fenton.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said they were Donald L. Ferguson, 43, of Magna, Utah, who was driving a truck, and Diane C. Veehoff, 65, of Ozark, Mo., who was driving a car. Release of the names was delayed because of problems in locating Ferguson's next of kin.
The crash happened at 4:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes and involved three other vehicles. Four were cars stopped in traffic; the fifth was Ferguson's truck, which plowed into the stopped cars.
Injured were Leslie C. Lusby, 75, and Alice R. Lusby, 70, both of El Cajon, Calif.; and Jennifer M. Tinsley, 35, of St. Louis.
