Obituary for Sharon M. Wright
Celebration of Life for Sharon M. Wright (nee: Roche), age 76, will be held on Saturday, April 14th at 11:30 am at Moretti's Ristorante & Pizzeria, 1175 W Lake Street, Bartlett, IL.
Sharon was born in Des Moines, IA, to Thomas and Ardyce (Elston) Roche. She taught junior high in School District 54 for 32 years. A Streamwood resident since 1992, was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles and Jeopardy, dining out with friends, traveling and attending family events.
Sharon is the loving mother of Christy (Steve) Smolinski, William (Regina) Wright, Jason (Andrea Wright) Wright, and Joshua Wright; cherished grandmother of Alex, Nikolas, Aiden, Shannon, Ariana, Caleb, Joshua, and Brady. My first real girlfriend, therefore, my first love! I was thirteen and a half years of age she was fourteen. People always say "oh that's just puppy love" but it lasted a lifetime for me. She was always such a kind and gentle soul who carried throughout her life her faith in God, incredible integrity and a heart of gold. She was absolutely the driving spiritual force that remained so powerful in my life that I was baptized Catholic on March 22, 2002. I have so many wonderful memories of her beautiful eyes, her funny little laugh, and her silly jokes. I will miss her with all my heart until we meet again.
