We have 11 grandchildren, 7 boys, 4 girls. The oldest, Danny, just graduated from high school. The youngest, Luca, 6 mos. old, was just baptized.
Three of our sons are back in DSM running the family business. One son, Damian & his family live in Boston. Our daughter is back in DSM with her baby after a career as a professional ballerina in S. Carolina, Italy, San Diego, & L. A.

I seem to like going to school. I am now working on my second master's degree, an MFA in creative writing. Degree completed since this post.
School Story:

Sister Mary Winifred gave me the nickname Frenchy when I was a freshman because I got a better grade in French than in English. I'm not sure some people even knew my real name.

Since high school, I earned B.A. from Drake University, an M.A. In English, also from Drake, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Queen's University of Charlotte.

Happy Birthday Judy!! I didn't forget yesterday, I just had to babysit for my daughter's little boy since it was her birthday yesterday too. I'm still trying to adjust to turning 70 on June 11. Is it just me or is that a blow to others too?
