It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Ellen Fuss announces her passing on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the age of 76.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kelly Catherine Dutton, Gretchen Elizabeth Lipman, and Matthew Steven Fuss. Barbara will also be fondly remembered by her three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brooke, and Creighton, as well as friends and family.

Barbara was born on February 14, 1945, in St. Louis, MO to her parents, Dr. William Morrissey and Marianne (Kelly) Morrissey. Barbara graduated from St. Joseph Academy in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1963. She received her undergraduate degree in Art History at Maryville University in 1967. She received a master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Denver. She was a Member of P.E.O in Des Moines, Iowa, and a member of Junior League of Denver. Barbara spent most of her working career as a computer programmer and IT associate at COPIC Ins. Co.

She was a lover of music, reading, travel and spending time with her dear friends and family. Barbara will forever be remembered as a kind, thoughtful, generous and caring person and her great sense of humor will be remembered by all.

A Memorial Service in honor of Barbara will be held on Saturday, June 5th at 11:00 AM at Ellis Family Services located at 13436 W. Arbor Place, Littleton, CO 80127. A reception, hosted by her children, will follow at the Dutton residence at 6700 W. Dorado Drive, Unit 19, Littleton, CO 80123.
