I would like to see if we can do a profile on our two class mates that have passed.  It would be nice to know about what their lives were like after high school.

I was in Miami during the first reunion and couldn't make it back. The second time folks connecting, I was in New York in graduate school or something. Consequently, I'm trying to get out of the doghouse and make it back. I miss everybody and think of Polar Bear nation often.

I went back a few years ago and saw Mrs. Peterson (she remarried and has a different last name). I saw Mrs. Keasey, and what was the name of our commencement speaker again? She was a popular teacher and left to go to the Principal (I believe). I'd love to track her down and say hello.

PS: Obviously, graduation was real important to me:)...I can't remember much from it. I just remember the story she told about the former Saturday Night Live star that passed away that year, Gilda Radner.

Ed, you do look just the same as from high school.  It is nice to hear from you.  I can tell you a little about Sherry Letz.  She was a good friend of mine in ROTC.  She should have graduated in 90 but was having a baby and decided to graduate early.  Not too many of our class would really know her.  She was a fun gal, full of life, and loved to have a good time.  She was in an auto accident where a truck rolled over her.  She was still alive, and the life flight came to get her, and on the way to the hospital the life flight crashed.  Then she died.  She had two young boys who are doing well these days.  They are 19 and 15.

At our prom, we double dated and had a good time then too!  She really was a nice girl, and it is just really too bad about the accident.  She is dearly missed.

Thanks for the information about Sherry.  Do you know what she did after high school.  Did she join the military? go to college?

I am not sure what she did after high school.  I think she just worked random places.  She may have taken some college classes, but I don't recall.

Mrs. Murphy was our commencement  speaker.

Man oh man I hope I get to see everyone at the reunion. This is so great catching up with everyone. I truly hope everyone is well!

This is what brought her back to my memory. I was on a flight recently, when I picked up a magazine to read in-flight. I open the page and who is there on the front? Gilda Radner, former star of Saturday Night Live back in the day.

Ms. Murphy used her in her speech, because she died suddenly of breast cancer. She used it to encourage us to live life to the full and never give up. I think she went on to work for the Principal or something after we graduated...not sure. That is about all I remember from graduation!:)

If we want to talk about teachers, who remembers the science teacher Mike Buresh.  Looking at him now, I don't see why everyone thought he was "hot"

The only teacher that stands out in my memory is Mr. Williams....Chemistry and Physics.  Loved that teacher!

This site is great!  The class pictures of all of us are so much fun to look at.  High School, good times, yet glad that stage in life is done.  Funny enough to go through it again, in a different way.  Is it just me, or are kids today meaner and nastier??

I really liked Mr. Williams he was a great teacher. I think bob and I screwed around most the time in his class.  I was always curious to find out what happened to Mr. Moberly  he was really old when we were in school I imagine he's no longer around....anyone know what happened to Christy Flaherty?...lisa I think its cool your parents want to come.....funny but cool.

Hi everyone.  Hope all of you are doing well.  I loved Mr. Williams!!  I remember that he would always say Good Afternoon and it was morning time.  He always made me smile.  I'm sure he's retired by now unless anyone knows differently(hopefully he hasn't passed away).  It would be nice to see some of the teachers at the reunion.  Does anyone know what happened to Steve Pearson re: his death?

Who all had Ms. Forrester for English.  I remember Troy Floyd, Tammy Harrington and myself were always noted on her desk calendar for always talking in class. 

We should reach out to the teachers and invite them to the reunion, we did at the 10 year and it was funny.  I remember Ms. Peterson going out drinking with us afterwards -- that was weird. 

i'd like to know what happened to steve pearson as well, he was a hell of a nice guy.

 I coached with a member of Steve's wife's family.  It was sudden.  He had a significant amount of weight loss, and had some other health issues... pains in his hip.  Found out it was cancer and he died within a couple of months.  It was very sudden and unexpected.  I've been trying to get a hold of an obit.  And yes, I agree... He was a super nice guy!  Him and his wife did not have any children, but they were very involved in his nieces and nephews lives.
