School Story:

I think of one memory where a bunch of us guys entered the Girl's Club Crazy Cake Contest by making a Cake shaped like a beer keg labeled:"KEEP IT RUNNING RIDERS" but Mrs. Cross would not let us because of the nature ,(BEER) of the cake!

I have lived in St. Louis since 1979. Always thought I would move back to Des Moines but it never happened. Now both of my kids have moved away, so we'll see...

After graduation from UNI I got into sales ( lived with Greg Mauk) and was transferred to St. Louis. I sold medical supplies and equipment and computers. When I was about 30 I started losing my hearing. I bought a company and sold it and started 3 more.in my late 30's I changed careers and got into the hearing aid business because of my loss and have done that for 30 years with an exception of 3 years. As my hearing got worse, I received 2 cochlear implants 7 years ago and I counsel candidates for implantation. I plan to work another year or so, except I love what I do! Hopefully, I will have more time to sail. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I was so sorry and blown away when I heard of Linda's passing.  Our families were friends through originally Boy Scouts but it extended beyond that almost 50 years.   Our Dads were friends and our mother's were friends.I last saw Linda was when she brought her mother to the memorial service 3years ago or so for my mother.  Charlie Brown
