I married in 1973 to another Roosevelt graduate Michael Springer. I graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1975. We moved to Reno, Nevada and had four perfect boys. We divorced in 1993. I went back to school, received my teaching degree and a Masters in the Art of teaching in 1997. I met my second husband shortly afterwards, we dated until the kids were out of the house, and married in 2005. He passed away in 2007 from cancer. I am still teaching elementary school and hope to retire in 2018. I currently spend my time with my children and six grandchildren who thankfully live close by.
