I graduated from Roland-Story High School in May 1989 and attended the University of Northern Iowa. I graduated from UNI in May 1993, majoring in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. I have taught in the Kansas City, Missouri for 7 years before moving to Seward, Alaska, for 5 years working in tourism. In 2000, my husband, Mark and myself moved back to Iowa and I taught in the Des Moines school district for 5 years and Ankeny Community Schools for 7 years. My daughter Emma was born in 2005 and Mason in 2007. I have since returned to my hometown of Story City. I work part time supervising Student teachers and Practicum students for Iowa State and also work at Kwik Star.
