I have 2 wonderful sons. Gino is 33, currently engaged. Kris is 29, and has 3 wonderful children.

I have 3 beautiful grandsons. Austin is 19, plays goalie in a travel league and is going to college, Owen is 15 who also plays hockey, and Marco is 12, also plays hockey, So who knows, we might have potential Red Wing players in the future.

My husband, Gordon, of 18 years passed away in July from a form of Leukemia.

All my family is still in the Detroit area. My wonderful Dad passed away June 14, 2015 and my Mom passed away 11 months later. I'm within a 30 minute drive to any of my sisters. We're very close and spend a lot of time together.

Unfortunately no, Pat (Dombrowski) George and I had kept in touch for a while, hoping to set some time aside to see her again, I've since got in touch with Mary Tobkin thanks to the reunion. Would love to see Carol Brombach, found some old home movies with her in it.

Get a college degree

I'm quilting! Who knew. But my quilting is more modern. I started about 4-5 years ago when my snow bird friend came back from Florida and showed us what she had learned, I got hooked. I enjoy challenging myself. I take classes twice a month in Ann Arbor, one on embroidery and the other on software; my Bernina machine does embroidery and has software to add all kinds of goodies! Yes, newer machines are amazing, they're definitely not your Mom's sewing machines.
When I lived in Illinois I volunteered at a shelter for battered women. I taught them finance, how to save money, how to shop, balance a check book, etc, things we take for granted. Taught them how to use a crock pot so they can have dinner ready when they get home from work. At the end of the 6 week session they all went home with a crock pot. One of the highlights was when I had brought in a financial advisor to help women save and discovered two of the women had a 401K they had forgotten about from a previous employer. These women are amazing, I loved working with them

Anywhere and everywhere

I have to say my grandsons. Being a grandparent is amazing! My husband did a lot of traveling when he worked and each year we would take one grandson with us. One time we went to Colorado and I took my oldest grandson and we went indoor skydiving! What a thrill.
This past year I took my two sons and 3 grandsons and we went to Malta and Rome. What an amazing time. The boys took care of me, wouldn't let me carry luggage and made sure we were doing things I enjoyed too, I was a queen for 3 weeks!!

I would love to go to Japan and China.

I still do allot of reading but now I do it on my IPhone, very easy to take with me, but there is nothing like holding a book in your hands! I'm having fun decorating our new house and recently signed up for some watercolor classes. I've made my own drapes and cross stitch when I need to relax and of course quilt.
I love the Red Wings and watched my Husband's favorite team the Lion's with him only because he'd get so angry he was absolutely hilarious, I have video snips to prove it.
Gordon was a big movie buff and we used to go the the movies almost every week until he got sick.

Definitely not my age.

Didn't really like any of the teachers there, but Mr. Sharkey taught some life long lessons that I use to this day.

I almost got my black belt in Karate.

I don't really have any. I do remember too many cliques which I was still surprised to see at the 20th reunion.

Went indoor skydiving with my grandson Austin a few years ago. it was amazing. And went scuba diving.
