Bernie Korth

1959

Moved to Spokane, WA in 1971 from San Diego, CA; Retired from the Navy in 2001 with 32 years combined active and reserve service with the rank of Commander, Supply Corps. Retired from civilian position as Worldwide Sales Manager at Output Technology in March, 2002.

Entered Mackenzie HS as a sophomore following one year at Salesian (Catholic) High School. Studied an Engineering Prep program but never made Honor Roll. I was fairly low-profile at Mackenzie spending too many nights cruising on Woodward Avenue and James Cousins Highway in my yellow '52 Plymouth Cranbrook convertible. I spent some time with the Stage Club, but apparently not long enough to be included in the photo in the yearbook. I do remember the driver training course at Mackenzie where I took lessons in summer school prior to hitting the streets.

Career in International Sales until retirement in 2002; lived in Ireland from 1985 to 1987 and in England 1996 to 1997.

Senior trip to Mackinac Island; duties as member of stage crew; commuting in my first car, a 1952 yellow Plymouth Cranbrook convertible.

Lawrence Tech 1959 to 1960; Eastern Michigan University 1964 to 1970 BBA (68) MBA (70); US Navy Supply Corps School 1981 to 1982.
