Shelly Fischer Bednar

I am so excited to be included in this class even though I did not graduate with y'all. I graduated from Stuttgart, but I was never as happy there as I was in DeWitt. I then graduated from Louisiana Tech with a degree in Psychology. I was counseling kids at Youth Home when I met my husband at a friends wedding. Never thought I would end up in a town smaller than DeWitt, but love does strange things to you! I then worked as a juvenile probation officer for Arkansas County. After working with troubled kids, I decided that it was important to me to stay home with our son. So, I am not really a "trophy wife" I am a stay at home mom! Joey owns Bednar Land Forming. He does precision land leveling and builds reservoirs. My husband and I like to play golf and he plays in the DeWitt 4 Ball almost every year. I also go to DeWitt to get my hair done-Thank You Ginger!

Jill and I always seemed to find trouble. I once told my mom that I was going to Jill's house and she told her mom that she was going to mine. Yes, this ends badly! We were riding around and there were our moms together, riding around looking for us. I was so embarrassed but Jill was her usual calm self. We were both grounded and we should have been!
