Well, after graduation I unfortunately opted out of college. For years I knew this would be a poor decision on my part, but fortunately life has turned out much better than I could have planned. I spent several years after high school doing general labor jobs; construction with my step-dad for 3 years, cable technician for a year, dental technician for 2.5 years. In 2005 I decided to get serious about my faith, which has turned out to be the most important part of my life. Shortly after "finding my faith" I met my wife Bethany Hamm. We dated for two years, eventually getting married in May of 2007. A few months after our wedding I left my job at the dental lab and went to work at the bio-diesel plant in DeWitt. I spent two years there until we had our firstborn and moved to California. Spent two years in California until my sister, Jordan Murphy, was killed in a car accident at the age of 19. My wife, son, and I moved back for a year and half, working as a diesel mechanic for my father. We had our second son in October of 2011, extending our family once again. Both of our boys are such a sweet blessing, and love every moment that I get to spend with them. In April of 2012 we then moved to our current residence in Lexington, OK where I run my father-in-law's company. Life has taken me down many different paths, some extremely heart-wrenching, but God has directed me down many that have been dear to my heart. Married, two awesome little boys, a wonderful job, and the gift of ministry in our church, I couldn't be happier.
