50 Year Reunion for DHS Class of 1960
The Dickinson High School Class of 1960 recently celebrated its 50th high school reunion with a weekend filled with fun activities. Class members came from as far away as California, Florida, Arkansas, and Colorado to enjoy the celebration.
The early arrivals enjoyed a delicious steak dinner on Thursday evening at Gus’ Restaurant in Texas City before heading to Jane Deats Hayley’s home for dessert and drinks. On Friday night, 70 classmates and friends gathered at Robert and Sharon Maudlin Topfer’s home on Dickinson Bayou for a fun-filled party.

Following lunch, the grads headed to the Dickinson Railroad Museum where they were hosted by Dickinson Historical Society Board members, Nena Trombatore Neal, Ernie Deats and Matt Falco.
Saturday evening’s festivities were held at the Harbour Club at South Shore Harbour where the group enjoyed dinner and dancing.
