Bob, Neil Fuqua, and myself did run around together quite a bit. But after graduation, appoximately 1961, Bob met a girl in Angleton. He and I went over and we dated some girls from there. I, in turn, met a girl from Baytown, and we in turn made trips from Angleton to Baytown many a day! I think we ran around together more after graduation than we did when we were in high school.
When I went to basic training for the Air Force, we lost contact.
I see that Neil Fuqua and Bob died the same year; almost coincidental.
I first knew 'Bobby' from True Cross School which he attended for a few years. He was a nice guy, quiet and caused no trouble for the nuns/teachers. We never ran around together during our DHS years, but I remember telling him at one of the DHS reunions how much I thought he looked like the singer Kenny Rogers, with his silver white hair and beard. Rest in peace, Bobby.

I know he will be greatly missed.
