Henry Jahn was my next door neighbor. Although we did not run around much together, we did have some pretty neat conversations.

Henry was in the Army, stationed in Germany. When his parents told him that I was going to basic training, I received several post cards from him. We both were from Galveston, and occasionally his set of friends and mine would get together.

I just wanted to say that I was sorry to hear of his passing, and want him to be remembered.

I suppose none of us knew Henry very well since he didn't come to DHS until our senior year, but he seemed to be a very likable guy. I heard at one of our reunions many years ago that Henry was killed in a convenience store hold-up in Pasadena; I think Alvin Poché told me about that.
