Earned B.S. in English/Secondary Ed from Lipscomb University in 1972. Taught English at DCSHS 1972-75. Married Ken Culp of Ames, IA, an engineer with G.E. in 1975. Lived in Memphis and Chattanooga briefly prior to moving to Dallas, TX, in 1977. Earned M.S. in Computer Science from North Texas State University in 1981. Management Consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) from 1981-95, becoming a partner in the firm in 1990. Director of Consulting for the Dallas office of Ernst & Young Consulting 1996-2000. Vice-President with Cap Gemini Consulting 2000-02. Moved to Brentwood, TN, in 2005. Currently, do interior design as a hobby and volunteer with Brentwood Baptist Church and Habitat for Humanity.
